Thailand, day 3 : Sukhothai

In English : I really enjoyed the historic town of Sukhothai (600 km north of Bangkok), and its foggy ruins that can be visited by bike... A first small tour when we arrived late afternoon... Magic!

En français : J'ai adoré la ville historique de Sukhotai (à 600 km au nord de Bangkok), et ses ruines brumeuses que l'on peut visiter à vélo... Un premier petit tour lors de notre arrivée en fin d'après-midi... Magique!

Une jupe en soie

In English : I wanted to wear again this beautiful silk skirt, that you've seen recently in my little retrospective... It's probably 10 years I didn't wear it, yet it still fits me! I love this little 40's style with the length below the knee, and this fashionable purple color ^^

A retro polka dot blouse, high heels, and I have again the style I had as a student!

You could almost believe that I'm still a student, right? ;)

En français : J'avais envie de reporter cette très jolie jupe en soie, que vous avez déjà vu dans ma petite rétrospective récemment... Voilà bien 10 ans que je ne la portais plus, pourtant elle me va toujours! J'adore ce petit coté 40's avec la longueur sous le genou, et la couleur aubergine très hype ^^

Un chemisier à pois rétro, des escarpins, et je retrouve mon look d'étudiante!!

On y croirait presque, non? ;)

While waiting for the Apocalypse, I show you (a low neckline), oups, my outfit from yesterday night! =D

I had got a huge crush, a few months ago, when I saw this long dress in the shop... I must make it a bit shorter, but otherwise it's perfect! 

When I think that before, I thought that long dresses couldn't fit small girls like me... In fact it's not so bad, with good heels.

By the way,I need to frame this poster of Sargent on my wall, it's waiting one since the summer 2007, when I bought it... Here is my resolution for new year! ^^;

And to celebrate all this, my roguish cat again shows her moody face in our photos!

En attendant l'Apocalypse, je vous montre (un décolleté de ouf), heu ma tenue du réveillon d'hier! =D

Un gros craquage il y a quelques mois, quand j'ai vu cette robe longue de starlette en magasin... Il faut que je la fasse raccourcir un peu mais sinon, elle est parfaite! 

Dire qu'autrefois je considérais que les robes longues, ce n'était pas fait pour les filles petites comme moi... En fait ça rend pas si mal, avec de bons talons.
Hum d'ailleurs, il faudrait que je fasse encadrer cette repro de Sargent accrochée à mon mur, elle attends un cadre depuis l'été 2007 (lorsque je l'ai achetée à Londres). En voilà une bonne résolution pour la nouvelle année!! ^^;

Et pour fêter ça, ma fripouille de chat s'est encore tapée l'incruste au milieu de nos photos...

Les délices de la rue Sainte Anne *3*

Another lovely walk in Paris on a Saturday, this time on the area of the Rue Sainte Anne! We had lunch at Zenzoo, a Taiwanese restaurant that I like a lot, with delicious varied meals, succulent desserts, and especially my favorite drink: the matcha bubble tea with cold milk, yum!

Then, after a visit to Aki Boulangerie to try the famous Opera cake (renamed Kabuki here ^^) with matcha and white chocolate (which is a treat about which Tokyobibi already talked about!), and some macaroons (good but a little too sweet for my taste, those of Sadaharu Aoki are better ^3^), we went to a walk in the neighborhood... I leave you with these pictures! And I go back to read "Pride and Prejudice" hehe ^^

En français : Encore une charmante ballade un samedi à Paris, cette fois du coté de la rue Sainte Anne! Nous avons déjeuné au restaurant taïwanais Zenzoo que j'adore, des plats délicieux et variés, de succulents desserts, et surtout ma boisson préférée : le bubble tea au matcha et au lait froid, miaaam!

Ensuite, après un détour chez Aki Boulangerie pour tester le fameux gâteau Opera (ici Kabuki ^^) au matcha et au chocolat blanc (un régal dont avait parlé Tokyobibi!), ainsi que quelques macarons (bons mais un peu trop sucrés à mon goût, ceux de Sadaharu Aoki sont meilleurs ^3^), nous sommes allés nous promener un peu dans le quartier... Je vous laisse avec ces images! Et je retourne bouquiner "Orgueil et Préjugés" héhé ^^
