Père Lachaise

We enjoyed this beautiful fall day to go for a walk in the cemetery of Père Lachaise in Paris ... I live in that neighborhood and it's always a pleasure to return, although after a while I always feel weird amongst all these graves!

This remains a very peaceful and beautiful place ...

Tuscany - Last Day... ='(

This is already our last day in Italy... ='(

We spend the morning visiting the medieval town of San Gimignano, a true jewel that is part of World Heritage of Unesco!

Then we take the road in the afternoon to reach Pisa for the return flight to Paris...

I'm sad it went by too fast! é_è

But I certainly will return. Italy is one of the most beautiful countries I've ever visited...

Tuscany - Day Three!

This morning we continue to walk a little in Florence.

We walked through a market, and had breakfast on the Duomo square, I've never eaten better croissants! =3

 

 

 

Then we had to drive through the Tuscan countryside ... What beautiful landscapes!

 

 

 

After a break in a cafe to taste the local wine (Chianti), we finally arrived in San Gimignano for the night ...

Tuscany - Day Two!

This morning we left Pisa to Florence =)

A city full of history! After a good pizza, we walked in the center but unfortunately we had no time to visit museums...

We have seen great places, like the fortified palace, the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo...

 I also bought a nice cap to the Rinascente =)

 

The night I tested some Tuscan specialties, including a dessert consisting of almonds biscuits to soak  in a sweet wine ... Huuum ^3^ 

 

We had a very nice room decorated with old style!

Tuscany - Day One =)

For this first day of travel, we visited Pisa and its famous leaning tower ... ^^

 In the afternoon we drove to Lucca, a medieval town very pretty! It rained a little but nothing too serious.

 

 

 

 

 

To end this long day, we drove to the north of Tuscany because I wanted to see the sea ^^

After a long journey we arrived in a small port for the sunset ... This magical place is called Portovenere, and I really want to go back one day, it looks like a village of pirates! There are lots of small steps and small alleys in a maze, I really enjoyed this place!
