I was only wearing old clothes recovered from neighbors, often 3 sizes above mine and damaged ... Sometimes my parents were going to do the summer and winter sales at the supermarket (not brands, only cheap and ugly clothes >_<).
At this time I had no permission to be attractive, to shave my legs, to wear makeup... No strips for my hair (so I have this horrible haircut that look like the one of Tao in "The Mysterious Cities of Gold"). I was not allowed to get out for parties, and to have a boyfriend either.
At school I was called "the ugly witch" by the boys, and other nice things ^^;
So, I don't really keep good memories of my teenage years! In this age appearance is so important.
When I see teenagers today, perfectly dressed with good style, with beautiful skin (all smooth!), perfectly straight teeth (no braces!), with make-up and heels ... Waw! I wonder from where are these young goddesses of perfection O_o
