*METAMORPHOSE*

I absolutely had to talk about this magnificent exhibition, that I visited recently... ^3^

It's a collective exhibition of the talented authors of the books from the collection "Metamorphose", managed by Barbara Canepa and Clotilde Vu for the french Soleil Editions!

It take place in the Arludik gallery, on the Saint Louis Island, right in the heart of Paris, and mixes the Low Brow style with the illustration and the comics... I love it!! *3*

I'm really sad to have missed the opening of this exhibition, because of problems of health, as far as it's been a while that I wanted to meet Barbara, because I've never had the opportunity =(

It will be for a next time!

You can visit this exhibition until February 27th, 2010! ;)

En français : Hop! Il fallait absolument que je vous parle de cette superbe exposition, que je suis donc allée voir l'autre jour... ^3^

Il s'agit d'une exposition collective des talentueux auteurs des livres de la collection "Métamorphose", dirigée par Barbara Canepa et Clotilde Vu aux éditions Soleil!

Elle se tient à la galerie Arludik, sur l'Ile Saint Louis, en plein coeur de Paris, et mêle le style Low Brow à l'illustration et la bande-dessinée... Personnellement j'adore!! *3*

Je suis vraiment dégoutée d'avoir loupé le vernissage pour cause de soucis de santé, d'autant que ça fait un bail que je voulais rencontrer Barbara, vu que j'en ai jamais eu l'occasion =(

Ce sera pour une prochaine fois!

En attendant vous pouvez visiter cette expo jusqu'au 27 février 2010! ;)

Cold Rain

Here are some photos of a walk under the rain in Paris!

I was really freezing with this spring trench, because the weather report announced cheerfully 7°C, but I had forgotten to take into account the option "cold wind about -30°C" which gaily caressed my legs this day... I believed I was going to die -__-

In brief! I will soon show you what brought me to defy this awful weather (while in more I was sick!! Eeeh!), because that's worth seeing!! ;)

Je me suis grave pelé les miches avec mon pov' trench car la météo annonçait gaiement 7°C, sauf que j'avais oublié de prendre en compte l'option "vent froid à -30°C" qui m'a allégrement caressé les gambettes ce jour là... J'ai cru mourir -__-

Today it's a special day, because it's my birthday!! ^3^ Aquarius pawaaa!!

I'm getting old... Well, the advantage is that people who don't know me are never able to guess my real age =p

So let's pray for this to continue!! Huhu ^^
And finally I managed to be on Lookbook thanks to the help of Pipilatou who invited me!! Don't hesitate to go to visit her fashion blog! ^3^ 

In the meantime, here is some photos taken in the Louvre Museum by my lover. The advantage to be an entertainment worker it's that we can go for free in all the museums of Paris. Before, I ignored it (for exemple we paid 20 euros to go to the Gallery of the Evolution, it's really expensive!).

I rereleased my street urchin's pants from the closet, I like it! And it looks nice with my new retro boots from Bocage (yes, again new shoes, I know it's bad u__u But how to resist to the sales!?).

En attendant, voici quelques photos prises au Louvre par mon amoureux. L'avantage d'être intermittent du spectacle c'est qu'on peut accéder gratuitement à tous les musées de Paris. Avant, je l'ignorais (dire qu'on a payé 20 euros pour aller à la Galerie de l'Evolution, c'est vraiment hors de prix!).

J'ai ressorti mon pantalon de Gavroche de la penderie, je l'adore! Et il va très bien avec mes nouvelles boots rétro de chez Bocage (oui, encooore, je sais c'est mal u___u Mais c'est les soldes quoi!!).

Depeche Mode in concert! ^^

As my accomplice Tokyobanhbao, I was in the great concert of Depeche Mode last Wednesday at Bercy, in Paris!

It's the 3rd time that I see them in concert, I'm a huge fan of this band since I'm 8-9 years old... I remember that in this period, I liked their music but I didn't know their faces, that was a terrible shock for me when I discovered Martin Gore's photos with his haircut of the 80s (as a sauerkraut!!), his chains and his leather pairs of underpants!! Arg! XD

Huuum, to see Robert Smith's head (from The Cure, the other cult band of my young years!) had even more traumatized me maybe... ^^;

In brief, it's a big part of my life. I was always staying near the radio, to try to enregister their last singles on audio tapes with my tape recorder "Fisher Price" ... I still have these tapes, the sound is horrible (no CD in these times!), but sometimes I still listen to them for the nostalgic!! ^_^

In brief this concert was brilliant (as usual!!), they played quite a lot of old songs which I like, my heart is always carried away so much on "Enjoy The Silence" or "Never Let Me Down".

They also played this less known song which touch my heart, "In Your Room", about the uncertainty of the time which passes by taking with him love stories ='(

En français : Comme ma compère Tokyobanhbao, j'ai assisté au super concert de Depeche Mode mercredi dernier à Bercy, à Paris!

C'est la 3ème fois que je les vois en concert, je suis fan de ce groupe depuis l'age de 8-9 ans... Je me souviens qu'à l'époque, j'adorais leur musique mais je ne connaissais pas leurs visages, ça a été un sacré choc quand j'ai vu des photos de Martin Gore avec sa choucroute des années 80, ses chaines et ses slips en cuir!! Arg! XD

Voir la tête de Robert Smith (The Cure, autre groupe culte de mes jeunes années!) m'avait encore plus traumatisée ceci-dit... ^^;

Bref, c'est un grand pan de ma vie. J'étais toujours scotchée à la radio, pour essayer d'enregister avec mon magnétophone Fisher Price leurs derniers singles sur des cassettes audio...

J'ai encore ces cassettes, le son est horrible (pas de CD à l'époque!), mais parfois je les écoute encore pour le coté nostalgique!! ^_^

Bref ce concert a été génial (comme d'habitude!!), ils ont joués pas mal de vieux morceaux que j'adore, mon coeur s'emballe toujours autant sur "Enjoy The Silence" ou "Never Let Me Down". 

Ils ont aussi joué cette chanson moins connue qui me noue le coeur, "In Your Room", sur l'incertitude du temps qui passe en emportant avec lui les histoires d'amour ='(
